It’s been a while and I’ve missed talking to you. To recap, during a balmy summer afternoon while splashing around with family I made a decision. It was a day full of shameless joy where I replaced the time typically allotted to scrolling aimlessly online and instead, held memorable conversations with loved ones. I recently began bonding with a new side of my family that I adore and find it easy to forget time exists while we’re together. Spending time with people you *actually* enjoy makes you not want to fill a void with others imagery of happiness; what a concept, right? Anyway, I shared with you that I’d be taking time to *live life* without the pressure to capture for future consumption. Updates? I got you.

What I’ve learned:

• I love myself most when I give myself time to explore

• Stress is low-grade fuel—I’m learning daily to shed stress at 1st glimpse

• Autumn helps me realize the most positive feelings about myself and abilities

• I have authentic love and real people in my life

• Everybody getting pregnant

• This phase of life is called *offloading*

• You will become more comfortable taking risks in business, over time

• When reflecting on what I enjoy the most it became evident that the time of year that society deems it’s “okay” to not be hyper productive I accepted that I desperately enjoy fall/winter specifically watching nature strip, rest and prepare to rebuild.

Highlights

Walked my 1st NYFW show with my son, Basel

I celebrated my birthday at the most peaceful resort, Palm Heights

Visited Africa for the 1st time with Topicals (brand trip of the century, debate me)

Where do we go from here? I’ll be checking in with you monthly with more advice, learnings, ideas, giveaways and event invites. I didn’t want to slide into your inbox after months of absence without a human re-intro. I have manners, okay?

One of my proudest highlights of 2024 so far has been the launch of my own wellness column for Teen Vogue called, Soft Launch. It’s still a mindfuck that I began this substack to challenge myself to expand my knowledge on different platforms, share event invites and get know you better outside of IG & TikTok and in less than 1 year we made to Vogue babyyyy, next? Met Gala, lol! A girl can dream :)
